Things to do for Sheffield students: Tramlines Festival


From the 20-22ndJuly 2018 Tramlines festival will be taking place in Sheffield; a wonderful weekend filled with fun and great live music. The festival will be taking place from Friday through to Sunday at Hillsborough Park, and will be showcasing 4 stages of live music with wonderful acts, as well as a number of other entertainment facilities!

A Memorable Weekend of Great Live Music & Entertainment

Tramlines festival 2018 offers a more affordable alternative to mainstream festivals like Reading and Leeds, with a more relaxed environment and a wide variety of entertainment and fun things to do.

Something for Everyone, No Matter Your Taste

This year’s Tramlines festival will showcase over 60 different live music acts, including notable groups and artists of all different styles; such as Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds, Stefflon Don, Jake Bugg and Clean Bandit. Tramlines will home four different live music stages so you needn’t worry about hearing something you don’t like; there’ll be something to suit everybody!

This year’s festival will also house a whole host of alternative entertainment, including art and craft stalls, comedy performances and drama displays. There’s also a bar offering handpicked food, soft refreshments and craft ales to keep you refreshed over the weekend!
